Website Redesign & Migration.

Replace the old site without losing the SEO you already paid for.

Most redesigns tank Google traffic for six months because nobody planned the URL map. We move you from Wix, Squarespace, or an old WordPress install onto a faster stack with redirects done properly, rankings held, and the inbox full while the launch happens.

What the work looks like. We crawl your current site, export every URL with traffic and rankings, and build the redirect map before we touch the new design. We pick the new stack (usually Astro or a clean WordPress), rebuild the pages with conversion in mind, copy over the content that is earning its keep, and rewrite the content that is not. We launch in a window, push redirects, resubmit the sitemap to Google Search Console, and watch the rankings for six weeks to catch anything that slipped. Two to five weeks depending on size.

The lie sold by most agencies is that a redesign is a creative project. It is not. A redesign is a migration project with a coat of paint on top. The creative part is the easy 30 percent. The hard 70 percent is making sure the 200 URLs that ranked on the old site still resolve, the structured data still validates, the canonicals still point where Google expects, and the speed got better instead of worse. Owners who skip the boring 70 percent end up paying twice: once for the new site, again to fix the lost rankings.

After this, the new site loads faster, converts better, and Google still likes you. Old URLs land where they should. The pages that were ranking still rank. The pages that were not are rewritten so they have a fighting chance. And because the migration was planned, you do not lose three months of inbound while everything stabilises. The launch is a Tuesday, not a six-month panic.

Industry benchmarks, not our client data

The gap web design & development has to close

  • 1.5% What the bottom quarter of websites convert at
  • 5% What top-quartile pages reach in most verticals

The bottom quarter of sites turn about one and a half visitors in a hundred into an enquiry. Top-quartile pages reach around five. That is the realistic distance, and it is the distance we work in.

We are deliberately not quoting the top decile at 11.45 percent. Within a single vertical the spread between best and worst is usually two to three times, not five, so treat three times as the working expectation and anything beyond it as a good year rather than a plan. Your industry, your prices and your market decide most of the ceiling before we touch anything.

What we can change is structure: what the page promises before anyone scrolls, how quickly it proves it with real proof rather than adjectives, whether there is a page for the specific job somebody searched for, and how little stands between deciding to call and calling.

This is for you if

  • You are moving off Wix, Squarespace, or old WordPress and do not want to lose SEO
  • You have tried to redesign in-house twice and the old site is still live
  • You need to migrate platforms without losing months of Google rankings
  • Your agency wants six figures for a rebuild and you suspect that is overkill

What it costs

No proposal theatre. These are the real numbers, and the full list for every service is on the pricing page.

  • $3,700£2,899 one-time Lead Conversion Website System Up to 5 pages, high-conversion layout, mobile optimization, speed optimization, structured schema, GA4, GTM setup, and lead-form integration. Built purely for lead performance, not decoration.
  • $140£110/hr Standard Consulting Migration prep, URL mapping, and Search Console work. Most migrations need 4 to 10 hours of consulting on top of the build.

Need a number for your situation?

The prices above cover the standard engagement. If yours is bigger, messier, or does not look like any of that, tell us where you are and what you are trying to fix and we will come back with a straight price and a timeline. No lock-in, no "discovery phases", no surprises.

What this looks like when it works

  • Google rankings hold or improve through the launch instead of dropping for six months
  • Old URLs do not 404, so backlinks and bookmarked pages still work
  • The new site converts better, loads faster, and is easier to update
  • You can finally cancel the platform subscription you outgrew years ago
  • You can answer 'will the redesign cost us traffic' with 'no, here is the plan' and a document

How we approach website redesign & migration

The handful of principles that decide what we do and what we skip.

  • Redirects before pixels

The URL map is decided before a single screen is designed.

  • Keep what earns, rewrite the rest

Pages with traffic and rankings move. Dead pages get retired or rewritten.

  • Launch in a window

We pick a low-traffic window and ship in hours, not in a month-long fade.

  • Watch for six weeks

We monitor Search Console and rankings after launch so problems get caught early.

Questions owners ask before they commit

Won't a redesign tank my Google rankings?

It does, when it is done carelessly. The rankings you already paid for live in your URLs and content, so we map and redirect every one. Done right, a migration protects your SEO instead of torching it.

Isn't it safer to just keep patching the old site?

Up to a point. When the patches cost more than the rebuild, or the old stack is holding back speed and conversions, a clean migration is cheaper than another year of duct tape.

How do I avoid the site going dark during the switch?

We stage the new site, test it, set the redirects, and cut over in a controlled way. Your customers see a faster site, not an outage.

How we compare to the alternatives

The honest sales argument. We will not pretend the other options do not exist.

Doing it yourself

  • You and your team learning every platform from scratch
  • The work eats nights and weekends
  • Hard to tell what is actually working until you have burned the budget
  • One channel at a time because you cannot run them all yourself
  • Pricey mistakes you eat alone

With Mujgos

  • An operator who has actually shipped this work for paying clients
  • Plain-English plan, plain-English reporting, no PDFs to interpret
  • Fixed scope, real deadline. No 12-month contracts
  • Decisions in 48 hours, not 4 weeks
  • You keep the keys to every account, tool, and asset

Typical agency

  • Junior staff in a process they cannot change
  • Dashboards that confuse instead of clarify
  • 12-month contracts and cancellation clauses
  • Cookie-cutter playbooks they run on every client
  • Padded retainers that grow quietly over time
