Cookie Policy
Last updated: 17 May 2026
This page explains the cookies and similar browser storage used on mujgos.com and how your consent controls them. It works together with our Privacy Policy.
Our approach
We keep this site as light as possible. We use Google Consent Mode v2: by default, analytics and advertising storage are denied, and only essential, security, and functionality storage is allowed. If you visit from the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, or Switzerland (or your location can't be determined), nothing that tracks you runs unless you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you visit from a country where consent banners are not required by law (for example the United States), analytics is enabled automatically without a banner — unless your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, which we honor as an opt-out.
Your choice
In the UK, EEA, and Switzerland a banner offers two options on your first visit: "Essential only" (declines analytics) or "Accept" (allows analytics). Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the key mujgos-consent so we do not ask again on every page. That entry itself is strictly necessary, contains only your preference, and is not used to track you.
Categories
Strictly necessary (always on)
- Your cookie-consent preference (browser local storage — see above).
- mujgos-geo — a first-party cookie holding only your two-letter country code (e.g. US or GB), resolved by our hosting provider Cloudflare from your connection. It lasts 180 days and is used for two things: showing prices in your local currency and knowing whether the consent banner is legally required where you are. It contains no identifier and is not used to track you.
- mujgos-currency — set in local storage only if you change the price currency with the switcher in the footer, so your choice sticks. Contains just "USD" or "GBP".
- Security and delivery by Cloudflare, which may set a security cookie to protect the site from abuse. These are required for the site to work and do not need consent.
Analytics (only with consent where required)
Once analytics is allowed — by your "Accept" in the banner, or automatically in regions where no banner is required (see above) — we load Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager to measure how the site is used (e.g. pages viewed). Google Analytics then sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_<id>, typically lasting up to two years, to distinguish visitors. Google Tag Manager itself does not set cookies.
Web fonts
Fonts (Inter, Montserrat, Alkatra) are self-hosted and served from our own domain. Loading them sets no cookie and sends no request — and no IP address — to Google or any other third party.
Changing or withdrawing consent
You can change your mind at any time. Clear site data for mujgos.com in your browser (or remove the mujgos-consent entry) and the banner will appear again so you can choose differently. You can also block or delete cookies entirely in your browser settings; the site will still work with only essential storage.
