Answer Engine Optimization.

Get named inside the answer, not buried under it.

AEO is the discipline of being the business an answer engine names when somebody asks for a recommendation. It borrows from SEO, but the goal is a mention rather than a position.

The first job is making you legible. Models build a picture of your business from every mention of it they have seen, and they hedge when those mentions disagree. If your address is different on three directories, your service list is vague, and your site never states plainly what you do or where, the model has to guess, and guessing is exactly what it is trained to avoid. So we make the facts identical everywhere and spell them out in structured data.

The second job is making you quotable. We rewrite the pages that matter so the answer comes first: the question restated, answered in a sentence or two, then the detail. Prices stated as real ranges rather than 'contact us for a quote'. What is included, as a list. The result reads better for humans and is trivially liftable by a model looking for a clean source.

The third job is citations. Answer engines lean on a narrow set of sources they consider reliable for a given topic and area, and those are rarely the directories SEO tools push. We find what is actually being cited for your questions in your area, then go and earn a place there. That is the slow part, and it is the part competitors will not bother with.

Industry benchmarks, not our client data

The gap ai search & aeo has to close

  • 83% Of searches showing an AI Overview end without a click to any website
  • 23% Better conversion from the few clicks that do still come through

Roughly half of queries now trigger an AI Overview and the overall zero-click rate has passed 64 percent. That traffic is not moving to a competitor's link. For a large share of searches it never leaves Google, because the answer already happened on the results page.

The consolation is real but small: visitors who click after reading an AI answer convert better, because they have pre-qualified themselves. You are trading a lot of volume for somewhat better quality. This is the least proven service on this page and we would rather say so. There is no ranking dial to buy, no guarantee any model names you, and the honest deliverable is a visibility number that we move and measure rather than a lead figure we promise.

This is for you if

  • Assistants name your competitors and never you
  • A model is saying something about your business that is out of date
  • Organic impressions hold up but clicks keep sliding
  • You sell a considered service people research before calling
  • You want the channel locked down before it gets crowded

What it costs

No proposal theatre. These are the real numbers, and the full list for every service is on the pricing page.

  • $2,000£1,575/mo AI Search & AEO Baseline and monthly measurement, entity cleanup, schema, answer-first rewrites, citation acquisition, and reporting. Starting price when run on its own.
  • $1,000£800/mo Added to an SEO engagement Reduced rate when AEO runs alongside Local SEO, since the audit, schema and content foundations are shared.

Need a number for your situation?

The prices above cover the standard engagement. If yours is bigger, messier, or does not look like any of that, tell us where you are and what you are trying to fix and we will come back with a straight price and a timeline. No lock-in, no "discovery phases", no surprises.

What this looks like when it works

  • You appear in the shortlist when an assistant is asked who to hire
  • Models describe your services and coverage accurately
  • Your pages are the ones quoted, because they answer directly
  • You know your visibility number and watch it move month to month
  • Wrong or stale claims about your business get caught and corrected

How we approach answer engine optimization

The handful of principles that decide what we do and what we skip.

  • Make the facts boring and identical

Ambiguity makes a model hedge. Consistency makes it confident.

  • Write the answer, then the article

If the first two sentences do not stand alone, they will not be quoted.

  • Chase real citations

The sources models actually pull from are usually not the directories SEO tools sell.

  • Report honestly

Share of answers, measured the same way every month, with no ranking promises attached.

Questions owners ask before they commit

What does the work actually consist of?

Entity cleanup, schema, a rewrite of key pages into answer-first structure, and going after the citation sources models pull from. Then monthly measurement of how often you get named.

How do you measure something with no rank tracker?

We run a fixed set of the questions your buyers ask across the major assistants each month and log who gets named. It is a share-of-answers number, and it moves.

Is this worth it for a small local business?

It is worth more for a small local business than a big one, because the shortlist an assistant gives is three names long. Ten blue links had room for you at number seven. An answer does not.

How we compare to the alternatives

The honest sales argument. We will not pretend the other options do not exist.

Doing it yourself

  • You and your team learning every platform from scratch
  • The work eats nights and weekends
  • Hard to tell what is actually working until you have burned the budget
  • One channel at a time because you cannot run them all yourself
  • Pricey mistakes you eat alone

With Mujgos

  • An operator who has actually shipped this work for paying clients
  • Plain-English plan, plain-English reporting, no PDFs to interpret
  • Fixed scope, real deadline. No 12-month contracts
  • Decisions in 48 hours, not 4 weeks
  • You keep the keys to every account, tool, and asset

Typical agency

  • Junior staff in a process they cannot change
  • Dashboards that confuse instead of clarify
  • 12-month contracts and cancellation clauses
  • Cookie-cutter playbooks they run on every client
  • Padded retainers that grow quietly over time
