Search Engine Optimization.
Own the searches your customers already make.
Paid ads stop the day you stop paying. Search rankings keep sending you work while you sleep. SEO is the slowest channel to start and the cheapest one to run once it is going, which is exactly why most local businesses never finish building it.
The work is not mysterious. Somebody in your service area types 'emergency plumber near me' or 'invisalign Prague price' into Google. There are ten results and a map pack above them. Being in that map pack and those first three links is worth more than any billboard you will ever buy, because the person searching has already decided they want the thing. SEO is the discipline of being the obvious answer to that question, over and over, for every version of it your customers type.
Most agencies sell SEO as a content subscription. Four blog posts a month, a report, an invoice. That is not what moves a local business. What moves it is a Google Business Profile that is fully filled out and posted to weekly, a service page for every job you actually do, a city page for every area you actually cover, a site that loads fast on a phone on 4G, schema that tells Google exactly what you are, and a slow steady accumulation of links from places that are genuinely local. Boring, compounding, and almost nobody does it properly.
We do the boring version. First a full audit so you know what is broken and what it is costing you. Then the technical fixes, because there is no point ranking a page Google struggles to crawl. Then the pages that earn money, written for the search and for the person, not stuffed for a robot. Then the profile work and the links. You get a monthly report that says what changed, what moved, and what is next, and you can read it in four minutes.

Industry benchmarks, not our client data
The gap search engine optimization has to close
- 29% Of local clicks are left for everyone below the map pack to share between them
- 44% Go to just the three businesses inside it
That is the whole argument, and it is a distribution rather than a promise. Under the map pack, roughly a third of the clicks are split across every organic result on the page. Inside it, nearly half are split three ways. On a phone the pack also takes most of the screen before anything else is visible.
The intent is the highest on the internet: about three quarters of people who run a near-me search contact or visit a business within 24 hours. But be clear about what we can move. Google weighs relevance, prominence and distance, and distance from the searcher is not something anybody can optimise. Getting into the pack takes three to six months in a normal market and longer in a crowded city, and in some postcodes it will not happen at all.

This is for you if
- You are invisible in the map pack while competitors sit in the top three
- You are paying for every single lead through ads and want an asset that keeps working
- Your site has one page for services you actually do eight different versions of
- An agency has been sending you SEO reports for a year and nothing has moved
- You are expanding into a new town and nobody there has heard of you
What this looks like when it works
- You appear in the map pack for the searches that end in a phone call
- Organic traffic stops being a mystery number and starts being booked jobs
- Your cost per lead drops as organic takes load off the ad budget
- New service or city pages rank without a new ad campaign behind them
- You stop depending entirely on paid traffic to keep the calendar full
How we approach search engine optimization
The handful of principles that decide what we do and what we skip.
-
Money pages before blog posts
Service pages and city pages first. Blogs are support, not the strategy.
-
Fix before you build
There is no point ranking pages on a site Google struggles to crawl. Technical work comes first.
-
Local beats national
A link from the local supplier association is worth more to you than a guest post nobody reads.
-
Report on calls, not rankings
A rank is a proxy. A booked job is the number. We report both, but we optimize for the second.
Questions owners ask before they commit
How long before SEO does anything?
Technical fixes and Google Business Profile work move within weeks. Ranking for the money searches takes three to six months, sometimes longer in a crowded city. Anyone promising page one in 30 days is selling you something else.
Isn't SEO just writing blog posts?
That is the slowest version of it. For a local service business the pages that pay are your service pages and your city pages, plus a Google Business Profile that actually gets touched. Blogs support that. They do not replace it.
Why pay monthly when the work is mostly upfront?
Because the competition does not stand still and Google reshuffles constantly. The first months are heavy build. After that you are buying position defence, new pages for new searches, and links that keep compounding.
We already rank for our own name. Isn't that enough?
Ranking for your own name means people who already know you can find you. SEO is about the people who do not know you yet, the ones typing the problem instead of your business name. That is where the growth is.
Can I stop after six months?
You can, and the pages keep working for a while. Then a competitor publishes better ones, Google changes something, and the position slides. SEO is rent on an asset you own, not a one-off purchase.
How we compare to the alternatives
The honest sales argument. We will not pretend the other options do not exist.
Doing it yourself
- You and your team learning every platform from scratch
- The work eats nights and weekends
- Hard to tell what is actually working until you have burned the budget
- One channel at a time because you cannot run them all yourself
- Pricey mistakes you eat alone

- Plain-English plan, plain-English reporting, no PDFs to interpret
- Fixed scope, real deadline. No 12-month contracts

Typical agency
- Junior staff in a process they cannot change
- Dashboards that confuse instead of clarify
- 12-month contracts and cancellation clauses
- Cookie-cutter playbooks they run on every client
- Padded retainers that grow quietly over time
